step two:

Complete the application packet for either Pathway I or Pathway III(b).


Pathway I or Pathway III (b): Click here to download the application from CSUSB and to submit it.

Pathway III (b) has an employment verification form and job description requirement that must be submitted with your application. This will be the same information that you will submit to the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers (CBDM) to verify your eligibility to sit for the CDM exam.

Study for the Skills Verification Test

Study for the Skills Verification Test. Learn more about the test, and take advantage of the resources we have available for you to help you prepare.

Pass the test to qualify for our CDM training
step four:
Take & pass the Skills Verification Test

Using the link you'll receive, take and pass the Skills Verification Test (SVT), which assesses your math and English skills.

step five:
Pay your tuition

After you've passed your Skills Verification Test, you'll receive an email with information about paying your enrollment fees to California State University at San Bernardino.

Make your payment to complete your enrollment.

Purchase textbooks & begin your course

Once you've paid your enrollment fees, you'll receive an enrollment packet with information about purchasing textbooks and a link to access the online course.
